Custom Saddles

New Saddle
A custom saddle is a very specific and special piece of equipment whether you are a working cowboy or just a horseman. It is designed and made just to fit your horse, so he isn't exposed to soreness and ill-fit. This makes riding more enjoyable and your horse less resistant to command.

Then there's the comfort of the rider. The custom saddle focuses on some technical things that are critical if you are to spend hours in the saddle. First, the ground seat, shaped and made just for you. Then the stirrup set for the saddle to eliminate all the leg and hip stress. Of course there is the custom designing of fork, cantle and skirt shapes as well.

The non-tooled custom saddle starts at $2000.00. It is made with the very best leather and you pick your concho design and other options. You can also have it tooled and spangled with silver.

Tuning Saddles

Saddle Tuning
Most people do not buy a custom saddle. As you now know, a custom saddle is a very special piece of equipment. It is fitted by the tree measurements to the horse, and then to the owner themselves.

Two things are critical for the saddle to ride well, the set of the stirrups and then the ground seat of the saddle. The ground seat is the cornerstone of comfort, if it isn't right you will pay the price in fatigue and soreness each time you ride. Any reasonably priced saddle -- has a ground seat, many economical saddles actually don't have a ground seat. But a saddle with a ground seat of sorts can be tuned to your needs and make the saddle much more comfortable.

Setting the stirrups to your seat and physique corrects the leg fatigue and hip soreness. All can be done starting as low as $150.00, call today!
